Ofsted's Parent View allows parents and carers to give their views about their child’s school at any time of the school year. The questionnaire is also the main mechanism for parents to give their views to inspectors about their child’s school at the time of a school inspection.

Parent View Questions

Parents are asked to indicate whether they strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree or don’t know in response to 12 short statements.​

Question 13 asks whether they would recommend the school to other parents.

The 12 statements and questions are:

1. My child is safe at this school

2. My child is happy at this school

3. My child feels safe at this school

4. My child makes good progress at this school

5. My child is well looked after at this school

6. My child is taught well at this school

7. My child receives appropriate homework for their age

8. This school makes sure its pupils are well behaved

9. This school deals effectively with bullying

10. This school is well led and managed

11. This school responds well to any concerns I raise

12. I receive valuable information from the school about my child’s progress

13. Would you recommend this school to another parent?

Parent Survey

Alongside Ofsted's Parent View we run our own parent survey twice a year.
We use Google forms to complete the survey, using a similar format to Ofsted's survey, and send this via text and our Facebook page.
